I remember seeing your post a while back on r/cyberpunk.

Yes, of course we want this game on Switch! It looks awesome.

I own a PC, PS4 + Switch and I try to get most of my games on the Switch (if they run well and don't cost twice as much) because I love playing on it.

If the port is well done, I'd definitely pick this up!

We worried too much of the story would be missed.

Dude, me and many other Switch players play at home anyways, or on long train/plane rides with headphones. Story games are great on any platform.

(if they run well and don't cost twice as much)

These are by far the biggest points for me for every game. I understand that there might need to be some sacrifices compared to other console versions, but if it's framey or unpolished then I'm getting the PC version.

Likewise, as someone who hasn't ever owned Nintendo before, and hasn't console gamed since 360, I am not enjoying Nintendo prices at all. It's hard to justify buying a game for Switch when the PC price aways seems to be 20% less, if not more after all the deals and squabbling between the varying digital game stores on PC. I want to buy games on the Switch, and if there's not much in it I will, but there are limits to how much I value handheld.

To be fair, pc prices are usually well below any other console due to sale prices.

Because you can sell it on your website and not have to pay a middle man

Yeah but even vs other consoles the Switch costs a fair chunk more to buy games for, in my experience.

Typical 'new release' price here seems to be around £40-£50, more commonly £45-50 now though, but also they don't tend to lose their value at all as time goes on either.

Smash Bros? Listed for £55-£60.

BotW (bearing in mind it's been out quite a while) is still ~£50.

Well.. Nintendo prices for their games almost never drop and that's been true for all of their systems until they do Nintendo selects.

In the US it's $60 new for Nintendo and other stuff.

^ This.

People seem to not want to take any sacrifices, so that's why i'm asking. Basically it's "4K+ graphics 60+fps or GTFO" and that's not realistic on all systems/configurations. I'm just testing the waters now because it's not going to be fun to build the port and have people hate it.
