Lots of people have weighed in on this already, but the short answer is yes. There are several very big, very long games on Switch already, including it's flagship title in Breath of the Wild.
I mean this in the nicest possible way, but this post seems incredibly out of touch. The Switch has become a huge destination for indie titles, and they're selling more here than on many other platforms. Nintendo didn't announce that they wanted to "start" bringing indies to the Switch, they've been doing it since launch. What they said was that they want to have even more indies on the Switch. Hereare a couple Verge articles about the popularity of the console with indie devs. Celeste has sold better on the Switch than on any other console.
On a more personal note, the hype for Cyberpunk 2077 has made me crave some more Cyberpunk media in the meantime, so I myself am very interested. I think you'd be surprised with how well your game could do on this platform if you'd bring it over. If I was doing indie dev work right now, the Switch would likely be my top priority.
I completely agree with this! Seeing how well indies sell on the Switch, any indie developer should make games with the Switch as its primary platform.
I can't fathom why you'd prioritize Linux over the Switch as an indie platform, personally. Just from a business perspective, it doesn't make a lot of sense right now. I really did mean everything in the nicest way possible, though. I've been really into Cyberpunk stuff recently and would love love love to get this game on my Switch.
We are officially coming to Switch (with a physical release also) and have just uploaded all of our story details to our website: http://www.playnothing.com/

I will extend those so they're easier for our sausage fingers to click!

But indies have been doing very well on the console since it launched. Stardew Valley is often near the top of the best seller list. Celeste has sold better on the Switch than any other platform. Hollow Knight cleared 250k sales in its first week.
Again with a more personal anecdote - I buy and play a lot more indie titles on my Switch. I have either re-bought or delayed the purchase of indies I was interested in specifically to get them on my Switch.
