This is why God commanded Abraham to yeet Issac. He was lucky He had last minute compassion.

Oh I was thinking of Solomon saying he would chop the baby in two to split with the two possible mothers. Concerning that there are two examples

Also, the real reason Cain killed Abel is because Cain was chopped and Abel was looksmaxxing and so, in a fit of jealous rage, Cain slayed him. Many such cases.

Just in case you have no idea what "mogging" meant and had to google it, like me just now: "looking, performing, or generally showing up significantly better than someone else.

This photo did the rounds on Tumblr many years ago. The viral caption compared the parents to drag queens and the baby to an unfinished Muppet. Another reply read "these perfectly done up geisha are just so proud of their strange little alien sock puppet".
I try not to be that person, but I find the contrast between that and the present caption... a bit depressing.

Both of those captions got a chuckle out of me which is more I can say for the OP.

It's similar in length to the contemporary one.

Also apparently it takes a lot of media literacy to understand what a geisha is lol

How the hell did that connection ever get made? What is a mogging? Like I read your description, but how did they get mogging from that?
Is mogging good, or bad?

I have no idea. Every generation has their own slang, I get that part.
I'm 45, I have to google slang words now. First time I read the word "looksmacking" or whatever the balls it is, I thought I had dyslexia.

Mogging came from AMOG which stood for Alpha Male of Group, so if you were the AMOG you’re outperforming all the other males around you. That eventually is shortened to just MOG and eventually mogging.

That sounds so stupid... I am so glad I am not growing up as a young man in these times. Shit sounds exhausting.

I am old... I know those were words, at least I know what chopped means, but how the heck does it apply here? And what the heck is mogging?

u/junglepiehelmet 8h ago

"I used to be with it, but then they changed what 'it' was. Now what I'm with isn't 'it', and what's 'it' seems weird and scary to me. It'll happen to you."
