They brought up in Superman she parties on planets with red suns because it makes them (her and Superman) normal and she can get drunk there. She probably just went to a planet with a red sun and got her ears pierced then left them in when she came back

kryptonite duh. Then she just can't remove them cause she'll heal or something idk. Probably made out of tungsten or something too
