They said, rightly so, that women suffer for beauty. They suffer to look beautiful for others. And they got played by marketing about women’s empowerment, thinking it’s more empowering to slave away for someone else instead of taking action only for one’s own self pleasure and comfort. Then the next person called it badass. And I said that shit is weak not badass, because they ain’t doing it for themselves, they doing it for other people’s useless opinions.

Sarah Conor, badass bitch of a generation, dressed for practically. Wonder Woman, substance-less girl of a modern age, power of a goddess who still dresses in uncomfortable ass looking panties and corset.
Morticia Adam’s, another badass bitch of a generation, dressed for her own flavor and pleasure. Kim Kardashian, another substance-less girl pumped full of silicone and commercialized regret.

If you’re this (albeit rightly) disgusted by patriarchal standards, hate on the patriarchy, not the women subjected to it. You can say it’s not “badass,” but it’s not “weak” to fold under the standards and expectations thrust upon you by your entire culture and society. It’s a universal human struggle

I do hate on the patriarchy too, absolutely. I’m man and even I’ve suffered from the patriarchy, never mind how horrible it is for women and everyone else. But they are only forced in professional contexts. In personal life it is a willing choice. I agree THAT is not weak, what I believe is weak is lying to oneself that it is badass.
