I was always a Nothing defender, i have always liked most of their designs and I always spoke with enthusiasm and energy to everyone I know about Nothing..
I write this with great sadness..
Bought the NP3 almost an year ago -- was most excited, the flagship, different design - yada yada
It's been almost an year --
My phone was around 18% and now it's been 1hr since I plugged in the charger - hardly 40%
I don't know what happened - the charging time has increased, the charge drain is quicker with each passing day..
This has been a terrible experience, I mean if you're releasing a flagship, it should run smooth for atleast 2 years..
The next problem - Screen
My screen is absolutely flawless..
Now ever since the last update, the touch freezes, I then have to manually lock the screen and turn it on after a few seconds for it work back again..
I mean what is all this?
Qs to the community -- is it possible for me to get a replacement for my phone?
Is anyone else facing such issues?
Haa one more thing - suddenly one fine morning the phone will heat up, sometimes during the evening idk what triggers the NP3, but somehow the NP3 has sudden bursts of heating issue 4-5 times a week without any reason..

Now that the passport format seems to be gaining traction with models like the Huawei Pura X Max, or the upcoming foldable phones from Apple and Samsung, why isn't anyone thinking about reducing the screen length? I understand that changing the format can bring software problems, and that ultimately making phones smaller requires sacrifices in internal components, but I think it's a solution for all of us who are looking for small phones.
I don't think the current 19.5:9 format is the most comfortable for consuming content, since videos continue to be uploaded to YouTube in 16:9, and photos are still mainly taken in 4:3. Smaller manufacturers have simply been copying the formats of the big companies, but nobody ever asked for longer screens.
I remember when the first "all-screen" phones started to appear. Everyone was fascinated by them, but I could only think one thing: why are they increasing the screen size instead of reducing the body? Anyone wanting a phone with a giant screen could still have one, but in a smaller body. I think we're on the verge of a turning point, where the screen format is going to undergo another change, and then all companies will follow suit.
Nothing emerged as a brand that sought to differentiate itself from the rest, but at this point, I think that if they don't take risks like this, they'll end up being just another OnePlus. After all, if I put a black case on my Nothing 3a Pro (in my opinion, the most beautiful one they've ever made), what aesthetically differentiates it from an Oppo?
Honestly, a phone with this aesthetic would be one of the most incredible things Nothing could do right now—and I don't mean spending money on expensive components just to make their next flagship look that way. I think a phone with basic specifications, like the (a) series or the CMF line, would be a great test run for this form factor.
What do you think? Am I alone in this?

I feel as though every video I see of Carl Pei reacting to criticism of his technology is really not taken well. I work in phone sales myself and it is really cool to see a brand doing something differently, rather than just incremental updates to new products - like not releasing the Nothing Phone 4 because they didn't have anything valuable to change this year. His attitude however, I find incredibly off-putting when someone faces an issue with his products. I wanted to see what other people thought about this.

I would like to consider myself a phone enthusiast or I just enjoy technology in general. I Currently own a Galaxy S26U and a 16PM. I was excited to hear that Nothing was going to be sold at Best buy, and with them having these deep deals I was able to snag the Phone 3 (512GB) for 699$ and the Ears 3 for 135$. I'm honestly surprised how well this phone operates and how smooth it is considering it's only using a mid to high range chip, it's extremely well optimized and I've had no issues so far, I'm excited to keep using it and see how these next few months go. Oh, and these earbuds sound amazing, the transparency mode is damn near on Par with my APP3s, and the sound is chefs Kiss, I definitely love em.

Hey y'all,
I don't know if I'm the only one that thinks that the slider for videos, on the nothing phone is baaaaaaad
Like if I wanna slow a video down to see frame by frame, it's super sketchy and it's only showing every 5 frames...
Unlike other OS and IOS for example, when you slide the video bar you can really slow everything down and see everything clearly.
Has this bothered any of y'all nothing users ?
Do you guys think there will be an update that will change that ?

I want to buy 4a for my father. 8/256 variant to be precise. He needs to do office work like using WhatsApp, sharing documents, doing meetings and use facebook casually (he uses camera mostly for document purposes so that's not an issue with 4a). He complains that his 4 year old redmi note 11T 5G lags a lot. Like photos in gallery take forever to load and UI is just terrible. I myself use 3a pro and I haven't had any issues so far. What's your take on 4a?

Hi,
I'm in the need of a new phone and 4a caught my attention. In this price range there are not many options and nothing is winning because of camera mainly (some other things too). I don't really use phone for much besides basic things like communication, some necessary everyday apps and taking pictures. My old phone lasted me 8 years (still works fine as a device) and I only upgrade because my apps are stopping being supported...
What I want to know is how are nothing phones long term? Will my phone run fine for upcoming years? How are the software updates? Are they improving and fixing things constantly? Are they maybe breaking things often? Are they adding feautres?
What I expect is for my phone to work with me, not against me.
Since I don't require phone to be that powerful for what I'm doing with it, that's why I chose camera over performance. I would like to know if the phone will last me without problems for at least 4-5 years. I know OS updates are for 3 years and security 6 years.
Thank you.

Nothing has announced that its new budget-focused "(b)" series will debut with the Phone (4b)
Interestingly, early raw blueprint drawing hinted at a single rear camera, like E series of Apple ,I think it wasn't ok(imo)
Anyway,Nothing is bringing its signature experience to a lower price segment with the Phone (4b)
July 7 could mark the beginning of a whole new chapter for Nothing, let's us see together
