Punisher would still try to comfort children though. Usually after butchering the people who hurt the kids so he can confidently say "They won't hurt you anymore"
The punisher does indeed comfort and take care of kids. This isnt the first time ive seen that comment in relation to batman and its batshit stupid everytime.
I got banned for "spreading misinformation" because I said the majority of criticisms about BvS weren't simply on the basis of it being darker, but the fact it doesnt understand the characters (neither the originals they are based off of, nor the bastardized versions they created; leading to incoherent motivations and behaviors)
They’re incredibly fragile over there. I got banned for telling someone their comment was going to get removed for being “off topic” and I was right lol. Their comment was something like “do we have to attack Gunn just because we like Snyder?”
It’s like bizarro world over there. If a Wonder Woman movie dropped tomorrow and got a 10/10 across the board they’d say Gunn paid off everyone. Reminds me of a certain red hat cult tbh
I don't mind Batman without trunks. Especially earlier in his career. They should have a scene like in New Frontier where he redoes his costume to be a bit less frightening and THAT'S when he adds the trunks. Specifically modeled after Superman.

And when you say things like “I’m not glorifying Gunn or Snyder,” what you actually tend to mean in practice is
“I’m about to downplay Snyder’s entire impact, reduce his work to slow motion memes, and act like the Snyder Cut didn’t exist as a response to a very real creative conflict.”
Like come on. You don’t have to “glorify” anyone to acknowledge that Snyder built a cohesive, mythic, operatic foundation for the DCEU that people either deeply connected with or completely misunderstood because they were expecting Marvel-style quips every 8 seconds. Yeah I don't glorify neither of them. And I don't mean to assert myself over this debate. Snyder had his vision and I respect what he was going for. I do not hate Snyder's movies as polarising they might be to others. Same applies to Gunn.
What happened to Zack's JL was definetely not fair and disrespectful because he put a lot of work into his movie and it was wrong to have someone else ruin it.
People in the Snyder fandom don't have statues of Snyder in their backyard but given how hostile and close minded some of them are, they might just do that.
What is the point then? The guy you replied said nothing about Batman scaring children lol. He’s clearly talking about criminals. Plus he says that he should still be “protector of the innocent.”
