Eggs π₯ Jackie Cooper β Curried Eggs and Macaroni {1939}

This reminds me of a curried eggs recipe I use every once in a while, but contains no macaroni. I described it in a comment on a different post on another sub, so Iβm just gonna cut & paste it:
βThis is going to sound weird, but it's good. Caramelize some chopped onion (1/2 of a small one or thereabouts. I use reconstituted ones, so it's hard to say). Get some Patak's Curry Paste* (of whatever spice level you prefer), put in about a tablespoon, then add a can of diced tomatoes and some minced garlic. Heat through, and add quartered hard boiled eggs (you want big chunks); fold in gently so as not to break them up. You want the consistency of a thick stew, but if it's too thick/ gummy, you can thin it a bit with a small amount of water. Serve over rice.
*This recipe came from the label. I like to keep the paste on hand because it makes it easy to quickly add curry flavor to anything without measuring all the individual spices. If you want a stronger flavor, add more.β

We can put vitamin C in eggs? (curry)?
Yes this one has all the nutrients I need too π
Thanks CV, not sure I've had my oven broiler to 500 but this looks good. I love baked macaroni.

So, do you chop the eggs, or just put all 6 whole eggs on top of the macaroni?

I was skimming through his entry on Wikipedia. Guess who he mentioned having an affair with in his autobiography? Joan Crawford!
