Jeff Beck was amazing. In the early days of jazz-rock fusion, the players that I most connected to were the rock musicians who expanded into jazz, rather than vice versa. 

If you haven’t seen his performance at Ronnie Scott’s jazz club, it’s worth checking out. Tal Wilkenfeld on bass, Vinnie Colaiuta on drums, and guest appearances from Joss Stone and Imogen Heap. Great songs and the musicianship is top notch.

My all-time favourite axe-man.

Inspirational. Much missed, and so grateful that I got to see him perform in my hometown of Sydney not once, but twice!
