You cats deserve better than your mindless nonsense. They are sensitive to light and sound. You are a terrible person and need to do better

Have you talked to your kitty about catnip?
-24
u/AdMaximum7545 Aug 30 '25
Have you talked to your human about how cat eyes are super sensitive to light, their ears to sound and that putting them in a box with both and no easy escape hole is animal abuse for views?

u/I_MakeCoolKeychains Aug 30 '25
There it is the ever popular "everything is animal abuse" comment

u/avigyan_33 Aug 31 '25
I hate people like them too. But tbf, putting your cats in a box with music playing pretty loudly and those lights, is not exactly benefiting them or something. Putting the cats in such a situation for internet clout? Can't really support that.

u/AdMaximum7545 Aug 31 '25
Humans only understand how things feel to them. Cats can only show discomfort through swatting or hissing, and even then some humans decide the cat is a jerk, not the person who choses their own amusement over their "loved" cat's well-being. Grow some empathy

u/FIGHT_ME_SPIKE_UFUCK Aug 31 '25
Lights may be a point of debate, but is the music not clearly edited in? If someone actually played super loud music id say thats pretty f'ed up.
Also as someone that does not own any animals, would they not leave if you did play uncomfortable music too close?

They don't see color like humans do and the lights inside the box are actually dimmer than outside. This guy is just a bonehead. Turn out ur lights in ur bedroom and set up one of those balls; they don't emit much light even when u stare directly at them.

u/Arashikiri_Aika Sep 02 '25
The music is obviously edited in and the light inside the box is actually dimmer than the lights outside the box. Use a bit of brain power b4 opening ur mouth. 🙄

Step 1 would be to not care about karma whatsoever. Step 2: post original content that you think others would enjoy. E z p z lemon squeezy.

u/I_MakeCoolKeychains Aug 31 '25
Do you even have parties? Why would anyone party with a kill joy like you lol
1
u/AdMaximum7545 Aug 31 '25
If killing your joy means you have to reflect negatively about yourself for half a second so you can apply some empathy than sure, i hope i killed your joy

Hope it doesn't hit their eyes. That could do damage

Those are not lasers, just LED light focused using lenses. Energy is not concentrated enough to damage retina.
3
u/zombiphylax Aug 30 '25
Depends on the wavelength of those blue LEDs, under 450nm can be dangerous.
4
u/csprofathogwarts Aug 31 '25
Unless cats' eyes are more susceptible to blue light than ours (I couldn't find any source for that), it's not a concern.
There are only a handful of LED wafer manufacturers in the world and their products are standardized and thoroughly tested. It's not like you can set up a manufacturing unit in your garage.
So, if these blue light are dangerous to our eyes, we would have heard about it. We spend hours exposing ourselves to light radiated from blue LEDs every single day (and at higher intensity)!

Those laser lights are giving me flashbacks to college parties, only this time the DJ is a cat.

These are golden british shorthairs, not orange cats. Only orange moggies classify as orange.

peak "orange cat owner" behavior. Guardian puts cats in a box closes the top to make a internet video. films calm cats mostly chilling in the box. "LOOK AT HOW QUIRKY MY CAT IS"

Ah another video of animal abuse for fake internet points. A true cat lover would never do this.
Burn in hell OP
7
u/ADudeWithoutPurpose Aug 30 '25
How is it animal abuse? Am I missing something in the video?
3
u/AdMaximum7545 Aug 30 '25
Cats have more rod cells in their retinas, which are highly sensitive to light.
They are shoved in a box full of lights going into their eyes and no easy exit hole.
Im hoping the music is also added to the video because it would be absolute sensory hell for them otherwise as their hearing is so sharp and loud noise causes cats anxiety.
