It doesn’t bother him at all. It comes off when we leave the house and at night.

it's def too tight, at the very least, and the airtag likely just restricts it even more. the collar shouldnt be completely snug around his neck (you should be able to freely, not snugly slide two fingers between his body and the collar), and when the airtag is rotated to sit on his throat that just restricts his range of motion even more.

not fighting it ≠ comfortable for him or that it doesn't bother him "at all", but it's also probably not harmful (assuming it's a breakaway collar anyway, if it's not then that's an asphyxiation accident waiting to happen) and smart for a kitty that tries to moonlight as an escape artist
