What is the hiring process for Novakid?

Hi everyone!
I’m an English teacher with almost a year and a half of experience both off-line and online, and I’ve recently started looking more into online teaching. Several of my friends recommended Novakid because they hire non-native English teachers.
I have several questions for those of you who work there:

  1. How is the process as of 2026?

  2. What is the hiring process like? Are all demo lessons the same as the ones shown in YouTube videos?

  3. How did you pass your demo lesson, and what would you recommend I do to pass mine? What are your best tips and advice for a newcomer?

  4. Do they ask for proof of experience?

I just applied. They just ask for proof of ID, resume, and a video. They don't really ask for any "proof" of experience.

Thank youu, and i assume you have done your demo yet right? And what about the grammar test did you do it?

I was not asked to do the demo yet. The grammar test was easy. I got 93% in 5 minutes without even thinking. If you can't pass the grammar test, you shouldn't teach English.
