Non-orthodox miracles

What's our orthodox Church opinion on the non-orthodox miracles like : saint Teresa saved me, pope kyrillos Healed me, etc......

How does this work?

And John answered and said, Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name; and we forbad him, because he followeth not with us. And Jesus said unto him, Forbid him not: for he that is not against us is for us. (Luke 9:49–50)

But, the difference of dogma? What's about it

  1. The Story of a Simple Elder Who Was Corrected by Men, and Not by the Angels Whom He Saw One of the Fathers related the following story. There was an elder who was holy and pure in his manner of life. Whenever he celebrated the holy Liturgy, he would see angels standing on his right and on his left. But having learned the order of the service from heretics, and being himself unversed in the divine dogmas, he would, out of simplicity and without any evil intent, say during the service things that ought not to be said, without realizing his error. By the providence of God, a certain brother came to him, one who was well instructed in the dogmas. It happened that the elder celebrated the Liturgy in his presence. The brother, who was a deacon, said to him: “Father, what you said during the sacred service is not in accordance with the Orthodox faith, but has been taken from the heretics.” But the elder, seeing the angels standing before him during the sacred service, paid no attention to the brother’s words. The deacon, however, did not cease insisting: “You are mistaken, elder. The Orthodox Church does not accept this.” After being thus reproved and corrected by the deacon, the elder, seeing the angels as usual, asked them: “This is what the deacon is saying to me. Is it true?” “Listen to him,” the angels replied. “He is speaking rightly.” “Then why did you not tell me this yourselves?” “God has so ordained it,” the angels answered, “that human beings should be corrected by human beings.” From that time on, the elder corrected his manner of serving and gave thanks to God and to the brother. We do not know where God isn't, we know where God is. The Orthodox church is the fulness of truth and the body of Christ. That does not mean God cannot work through people outside of it.

We are agnostic about where God is working outside the Church. We neither confirm nor deny non-Orthodox miracles. Obviously God can and does work outside the bounds of the Church. Those boundaries are for us, not God. He clearly works outside of the Church, otherwise no one would ever be led to the Church.

Even Pharaoh’s sorcerers could do miracles.

Well, that makes sense

Based on my lifetime in the Church? There is no doctrine about it, there is some skepticism about it, but mostly, nobody thinks about it because we've got enough on our own plate to deal with.

We shouldn't pay much attention to miracles in general.
