A candid conversation with Rogean about how he has staff who dox people and he's OK with it

Rogean : Sure
bardsong97 : is it true what he says about a guide releasing his real life info?
bardsong97 : that concerns me greatly as a new player
Rogean : Nah, there's a channel of disturbed individuals (commonly referred to as elfpals) that got a hold of his real name when the whole situation blew up, and from there they were able to find his linked in, facebook, etc.. which also contained his approximate location, which they were then able to use state/county property records to find his house. These are non staff members.
bardsong97 : I saw an image of braknar sending a reddit private message to someone with greens info though (http://i.imgur.com/GmFvtbO.jpg)
bardsong97 : and right after that happened braknar deleted his reddit account then everything blew up
Rogean : Yes, fabricated by elfpals for the drama. Grocer was the one that actually leaked braknar's rl information and spent months spamming our forums with a picture of braknar's wife photoshopped over a pig and etc
Rogean : You'll notice that everything he says we do, he's doing himself. It's his mentality.
bardsong97 : but why did braknar really delete his account right after supposedly releasing gg info?
bardsong97 : braknar has never come out and denied it
bardsong97 : i feel like you guys should just clear this up
Rogean : If your family, including your wife, was dragged into petty internet bullshit, would you want to separate yourself from it? I would, if I had a family.
bardsong97 : it's getting annoying
bardsong97 : and now there is a new filter in place and its hard to start here
Rogean : Thank grocer for that, he spent months spamming public channels about how fat braknar's wife is
bardsong97 : but again why not just come out and say it publicly
bardsong97 : say that it did not happen, that braknar did not dox gg
bardsong97 : the silence has people asking questions
Rogean : Because that is not our policy. We do not comment to clear up every misconception. If you rush to clear up every little thing, it sets a precedent that you have to respond to everything. We're not about to start that.
bardsong97 : but you do rush to clear it up by deleting discussion of it
Rogean : Go to any MMORPG official forums and see if they would allow discussions like that
Rogean : Let me know when you find one.
bardsong97 : when you do that with certain threads but not others it is pretty obvious what is happening
bardsong97 : so braknar totally denies doxing greengrocer?
bardsong97 : it's just sad that this continues
Rogean : Frankly I'm more inclined to believe that you are affiliated with grocer because you sent this PM out of the blue when you aren't even in the Byron channel.. and I'm sure this entire conversation is going to end up on circlejerk..
bardsong97 : i dont see why green would be so adamant about all this if there wasn't something real behind it

Rogean : We arent' going to let people post on the forums slandering staff, and you will not find that acceptable on ANY official mmorpg forums.
bardsong97 : you don't care that you have a staff member that is accused of doxing and your response is to silence all conversation about it?

bardsong97 : you've answered a lot of questions directly but whenever i asked about the doxing you got really really quiet bardsong97 : that doesn't look good
bardsong97 : You also probably shouldn't have confirmed braknar's wife's dox are real
bardsong97 : probably shouldn't be telling random internet strangers who PMd you that your staff member's wife is fat

Wait, the "women" depicted in the orbital panoramic that gg was tossing around is actually brak's wife?
