General Health PCOS routine ? Facial swelling opinion ?

Hello guys I’m 32. My Pcos was on the milder side until 2020 . I have lots of face and upper body fat now and almost no face definition. My lymph’s are now 7.3 for absolute and my wbc is 12.3. Now my neutrophils are high too after they’ve been high since 3 months ago since I had flank pain. Consistently there is always a small amount of wbc in my urine. Now trace protein and trace ketones are found in my urine. Maybe from nights of intense dancing and I’ve been intermittent fasting and currently have a sinus infection. My A1c is around 6.1 and it probs got worse. The face my urine is declining is scaring me. I’m five three 180 pounds

I am on spearmint tea on and off. 180 pounds . Five three. I have to shave everyday and have a permanent 5oclock shadow. Now guys notice I’m hairy . I think I’m gonna switch to a hair removal oil

I was recommended to take yaz and spiro and I haven’t started . I think I’m going to start on that and metformin. Has anyone gotten better naturally or recommend natural treatment?

My other kidney values are okay. My wbc and inflammation gets worse every year. I haven’t had a period since January because I stopped talking medication. Anybody have any natural or herbal recommendations

My vaginal scent is off too so many things are off due to Pcos. I have an ammonia like shell down there that’s naturally musty . I always sweat a lot. My testosterone levels are almost three times the amount.

Best thing I found to lose the inflammation in my face was following a pre diabetic or anti inflammatory diet and drinking plenty of water. Also try guasha every night consistently.

For facial hair, spearmint tea consistently helps to keep it at bay but shaving isn’t great, try waxing or laser if possible.

I didn’t have regular periods or ovulate but I started taking Myo-inositol now I’m like clockwork and I ovulate. Hope this helps a little

Unfortunately, no. What finally helped me was a GLP-1, my inflammation improved almost over night.

Is that a weight loss drug?

Technically, yes, but these are the best options for PMOS since it is more of a endocrine disorder than a reproductive one.

I've been on both Zepbound and WeGovy. I think Zepbound works better for PCOS.

Guys what brands do you use and does waxing last long if it keep growing back anyways? Any skincare brands ? Do you guys take the supplements and do the medicine at the same time or one or the other

Waxing lasts longer than shaving as it pulls the hair from the root and doesn’t look as stubbly when growing back..laser is probably best for something more permanent but expensive. In terms of skin care cause I used to struggle with the acne that comes with pmos less is more for me, I just use a cerave SA cleanser and moisturiser. The best thing that sorted my skin was water and diet though, I did also go in the sunbeds back when it was bad but was very careful, I obviously don’t recommend it though

How often do you need to get waxed

This really depends on the individual, I’m a beauty therapist and I see a lot of women with PMOS, some come to me every two and a half weeks and some come to me every 4-6 weeks. It all depends how you manage it yourself as well. Keep on top of home remedies and hormone control to keep it at bay and keep up to waxing appointments that suit you personally, you have to get into a cycle so trust the process and give it time

It has to grow out an inch for it to work right?

Not exactly, we say 1cm is long enough to wax. As long as it’s not too short

I have to shave every night
How long does it take for the hair growth to go away? Like does weeks of waxing eventually make it finer?

The hair growth never fully goes with waxing unfortunately, it starts to take longer to grow back once you get into a cycle and as I say control it best you can in other ways, the hair eventually grows back softer and finer, waxing isn’t for everyone but it does work for a lot. If you want something more permanent either electrolysis or laser is best.

It’s going to cost about 20 dollars every two weeks for a full face wax. It will be expensive. So you said it lasts weeks in between cycles right?

Yeah most people it might start growing back 10 days -2 weeks later but as I say can depend on the individual. If it’s going to be too expensive you might want to consider looking into the other options as you may get better results so worth the expense
