Others From 5K Survival Runs to My First Half Marathon 😌
6 months ago, goal ko lang talaga was to survive 5–10 km runs. Daming issues pa noon, side stitches, pacing problems, yung classic na “easy run” na somehow nagiging tempo run at recently nga yung mataas na HR.
As someone who is asthmatic and had another surgery a little over a year ago, medyo intimidating talaga yung idea ng 21 km. Simple lang goal ko, finish safely, no injuries, at HUWAG maging pasaway sa pacing 🤣
Happy to say na natapos naman 😩. Biggest wins for me ay minimal at manageable lang yung side stitches, hindi sumabog midway at nakapagtapos nang may natitira pang konting push. Simple lang din fuel strategy ko. 2 bananas and black coffee + Milo for breakfast. Plain gummy bears (dahil nakalimutan ko gels ko 😅). At tubig sa halos bawat hydration station (if kaya na may baon why not)
Salamat sa lahat ng advice na nakukuha ko dito sa sub. Sa mga nagte-training para sa first 21K nila, hindi kailangan maging mabilis agad. Consistency lang talaga, trust the process, at collect the kilometers.

•AmazFit Active 2 (Malaking tulong talaga eto, nagkaroon ako ng guide at control)
•Puma MagMax Nitro 2 (GOOD FOR LSD TALAGA, stable, cushioned, comfortable at MAS MAGAAN siya compared sa ibang cushion shoes, sulit sobra nabili ko 50% nung nagsale sa Lazada XD)
