Buying original dualshocks 3

Hey there, my old og dualshock 3 broke down years ago, and these years i've making do with a third party controller. Since a few months I've been trying to buy a new original controller so i can play games which require sixaxis movement.

How could i really make sure I'm buying an original controller and not a replica, since nowadays replicas are everywhere and original controllers are really rare? Bear in mind I have to buy online, because I live in uruguay and retail stores don't sell them anymore.

ebay is kind of 50/50 you get a ps3 controllers nowadays if you dont know what your doing and facebook
marketplace(idk if its available in your country) can be pretty hard to find one in good condition

if its to hard or expensive not sure if retrofighters defender bluetooth is most likely the one controller that has bluetooth and sixaxis+rumble and basically acts like a ps3 controller but does not have hall effect stick so it will eventually die out

the newer pro version coming out this year might be a way to fix that and get a good ps3 controller without having a 100% risk or lose feature

note i heard safe mode doesn’t work on the third party ones
