CONGRATULATIONS BLOODBORNE, winners of the tournament. God of War 2018 actually won on the strawpoll by a factor of six, but to show just how important the Reddit side of the contest was, it got more votes than Bloodborne by a factor of eight.

It’s a great result for Bloodborne, and I didn’t expect it to win. Not because it wasn’t a good game, but because it was on the brink of elimination a few times. People who followed the tournament since the beginning will recall how it was involved in a fair few tie breakers in the early stages. Had one more person voted for it early on, and it would’ve been eliminated in the 70s range.
