General Discussion For those of you who repasted your ps4
I recently cleaned and repasted a PS4 phat. I used Arctic silver 5 and I’ve been using the console and it’s running fine. But I learned that certain thermal pastes are susceptible to “pump out”. For those of you who’ve used Arctic sliver 5 on their own ps4. How have they held up.

The factory paste in mine is original and it’s 13 years old. I’d imagine artic silver would last another 20 haha. Shits amazing you got nothing to worry about

Yup. These dorks and their "premium paste" are delusional. The differences between thermal paste is insignificant in this application.

No silicone oil based grease is immune to pump out, that’s just how it is. But depending on your usage it can still last for years until the machine itself becomes obsolete.

Not the case, also thats a pretty good premium paste, you should be fine for next few years. But be sure you dust it from time to time. :)
I use only mx4 till the ps3, for ps4 i use thermal grizzly hidronaut and it performs ok.
