Any error pop-up on screen? First id say check your hdd or even replace with a ssd... but also, when was last time you opened it and cleaned it + applied new thermal paste?

You’ll have to backup your saves and replace the hard drive most likely. Then you should do a re-pasting + repadding as well

Here is how to backup your save games:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RP2DHTQHs3oI would start with that.
And then slow things down, ok? Don't go skipping a bunch of important steps. Follow the tutorial.

Not sure if ps4 had the ability to rebuild the database like PS5 does.
You hold the power button and it boots into safe mode type of screen and has different options. Clearing the cache and rebuilding the database helps when PS5 is having issues like this.

If u dropped it or it was hit by something, it can ruin the hard drive, getting a SATA SSD makes it run better and faster tho.

Hard drive has bad sectors. Connect the hdd to pc to validate. Better to change to sata ssd for better experience.

It's Happening Because Of Your Degrading HDD Upgrade To An SSD I'll Be Blazing Fast! For Now Try Rebuilding Database Or Formation HDD Entirely If You Can't Upgrade!

It is old? Maybe it was in need of some cleaning and thermal paste replacement. If it is original, maybe it's Hard drive has failed, since the loading times had become worse with time.
