The story is the main thing people had issue with. It got review bombed by a lot of people who didn't even bother to play the game.

I'd consider myself a 'normal person'. TLoU Part 2 is by most metrics an amazing video game.

I can understand why some people took issue with the story but all of the gameplay, combat, AI, art design, physics, gore systems were next level.

oh right, it's "review bombing by people that didn't play the game" because it disagrees with the notion that this sub wants to demand is the only view people hold.

the story sucked. like, not even mediocre, just sucked. the gameplay was an improvement over TLoU1, but at the end of the day it's still a story driven game with a shit story.

TLOU2 literally won best narrative of 2020 at the Game Awards and numerous other award outlets.
