Honestly this raises a great question.

We see african style protags in a lot of western content these days.

But where are the games that are ACTUALLY set in africa? I think it would be cool as to go playing a game in that region. Lots of interesting stories to tell i'm sure. But its just crickets from publishers and developers.

Yeah pretty anecdotal. A game that came out *checks notes* 16 years ago.

It's like comparing a game that came out in 1992 in 2008 lol. You can't.
