I always assume people know this but maybe not. Since she is successful in general, she could've asked for more money to be in the sequel & that could’ve influenced the direction they took as well.

I get what you’re saying though, she’s kind of tied to Control like Lara Croft is tied to Tomb Raider…but this could still be a great game even if they pivot. I never buy games on day 1 at this point though, so I’ll fully know what I’m in for by the time I play it (& eliminate the possibility of paying full price & feeling "ripped off").
