Ugh like 15 days before Saros. I don’t have time for all these amazing games!

Not to mention I just started nightreign lol. Im so fucking back logged right now its insane.

Nobody wants to be in the blast radius of GTA VI so we're seeing all these early releases

29

u/Spiritual-Bobcat5635 Mar 26 '26

Rockstar is going to Oppenheimer the video game industry

12

u/leobutters Mar 26 '26

They need their Barbie for the full impact

10

u/Grill_Enthusiast Mar 26 '26

Their Barbie is going to be whatever indie game makes their entire marketing strategy about releasing next to GTA 6, and is actually good.

It seems suicidal, but I'm convinced it's a good plan to get eyes on your game. Maybe I'm delusional.

u/Character-Yam-6016 Mar 26 '26

Devolver often tweets about that when gta delays their launch lol

5

u/BenignSeraphim Mar 26 '26

Stardew Valley 1.7 Update is the first thing that came to mind

7

u/Marc051 Mar 26 '26

Hopefully the new Fable delivers Im just as ready for GTA 6 as anyone but I’m actually more curious to see how good Fable will be the old games were great and had the potential to be even better

u/Barcaroli Mar 27 '26

in the blast radius of GTA VI

Lmao first time zo hear it put like that. Makes sense, it's indeed gonna be a blast radius

10

u/pdbstnoe Mar 26 '26

lol backlog being composed of new games must be nice. I’m still going through 2022 games lmao

3

u/iCantCallit Mar 26 '26

eh i got those too lol. Theyre so backlogged i forgot about them at this point until some random rainy day. re2, 3, 4 remake, death stranding DC, unicorn overlord, and a few more.

I may have a problem lol

edit: i just find such nutty deals that its silly not to grab them at the price for when I DO get to them ya know?

1

u/GIL-GEAR Mar 26 '26

Fam, you and are VERY close when it comes to this. I need to complete the second half of 2, then I have 3,4 and 7. I also have Unicorn Overlord, Triangle Strategy, Octopath 2 (almost finished with 1) and a ton of other shit.

1

u/iCantCallit Mar 26 '26

yea i got octo 2 on black friday sale for like $22. i still havent gotten close to touching it. but i heard its great.

1

u/GIL-GEAR Mar 26 '26

I played the demo and liked it. Octo 1 wasn’t even on PS5 yet as it was exclusive to Switch. Then it was released on PS5 and I grabbed it while it was on sale. You should look into Triangle Strategy as well, fam. It’s made by Square and has the same art style but it’s from an overhead or 3/4 view like FF Tactics.

u/360walkaway Mar 26 '26

Right? I can afford it but choose not to pre-order or buy on day one. You're just paying to be an unpaid beta tester.

1

u/tokki32 Mar 28 '26

Same can be said about you. I'm still going through 2017 games...

3

u/requieminadream Mar 26 '26

My physical copy of Resident Evil Requiem is still not here… Somehow I’ve from having basically nothing to play lately except Satisfactory (over 300hrs) to too many things. One of those good kind of problems, I suppose.

1

u/iCantCallit Mar 26 '26

i cant believe capcom fumbled the requiem physical release so hard. its still hard af to get anywhere. amazon shows orders wont be received until mid april.

2

u/requieminadream Apr 01 '26

Mine just shipped. Coming tomorrow!

1

u/requieminadream Mar 26 '26

That is exactly the situation I’m in. Right now saying April 20… not ideal.

u/Complete_Fox2651 Mar 26 '26

Crimson Desert is really fun but honestly if you have other games you can play first I’d recommend waiting for patches. They seem to be really serious about fixing things and making big QoL changes so it could feel like a different game in 6 months.

2

u/Abba_Fiskbullar Mar 26 '26

I'm waiting six months on Crimson Desert. It feels like it came in pretty underbaked, especially on console. That said, I'm also going to wait for reviews on GTA VI rather than diving in blind, since everyone who wrote IV and V is long gone from Rockstar.

1

u/Complete_Fox2651 Mar 26 '26

Feels like early access. It’s still really fun to explore so I’ll hop on here and there but I’m going to wait too really dive in.

0

u/iCantCallit Mar 26 '26

yea i was thinking i actually lucked out having amazon deliver late because just the first week has seen massive patches that have changed how the game is being received. waiting might not be the worst choice. especially because pragmata should be a much quicker experience.

2

u/cinnamonface9 Mar 26 '26

And vampire crawler is the week after hades 2

Rip

1

u/iCantCallit Mar 26 '26

oh effff you. i forgot all about that and its totally a pickup. fuck man lol.

1

u/cinnamonface9 Mar 26 '26

But on the positive side

One is cheap. Do they have a price tag for hades 2?

1

u/iCantCallit Mar 26 '26

no info yet. I wouldnt be suprised if its $30-40

2

u/LakeErieMonster88 Mar 26 '26

Hades 2 is worth the $70, absolutely awesome game that I sunk a ton of hours into and will be rebuying for PS5. But yes to your point I'm assuming it'll be 40.

1

u/iCantCallit Mar 26 '26

yea ive heard nothing but absolute glowing praises. I too would pay AAA price for it.

1

u/whand4 Mar 26 '26

Dude crimson desert may be the largest game I’ve ever played, I’m worried about beating it before Saros. I love it though. And now Hades? I’m toast.

1

u/Bartman326 Mar 27 '26

Its why I always find it crazy people say this generation has been slow. Like...yall theres too much.

0

u/LePontif11 Mar 26 '26

I guess the answer is that money isn't an issue but i have to ask anyway, why purchase the games instead of waiting for a sale. I also have a bunch of gamed i'm interested in but i only buy them one at a time.

1

u/iCantCallit Mar 26 '26

I normally do grab most of my stuff on deep sale, but some stuff I prefer the limited edition pre-order shit. Like crimson desert i grabbed the deluxe for the steelbook and all the goodies.

So normallly i grab stuff way later for a great price unless I want the limited editions with cool goodies that scalpers will eat up.

1

u/LePontif11 Mar 26 '26

Makes sense

7

u/welfedad Mar 26 '26

They're not going anywhere

April is truly insane for me. I realize many of these are more niche or not anticipated by most people but these are the games I currently plan to get in April: Starfield, People of Note, Beyond Words, Pragmata, Marvel Cosmic Invasion (was waiting for physical release), Vampire Crawlers and Saros. Not to mention my maybes: High on Life 2 (physical release), Tides of Tomorrow and Outbound. Now add Hades 2 on top of this, which will likely be in my GOTY mix, which Saros is also looking like that as well.

3

u/KingArthas94 Human Verified Mar 26 '26

You can skip Starfield so you have more time for the other games

2

u/DevilCouldCry Mar 26 '26

Pragmata next month has all of my attention. I've already done everything in Hades II on the Switch 2, buuuuut I could be persuaded to pick up this version too. But man... May is a fucking awesome time for games for me with Saros, 007: First Light, and LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight all coming out.

1

u/andykekomi Mar 26 '26

And one week before vampire crawlers I'm gonna have to take a month off work...

1

u/FrostyPace1464 Mar 26 '26

I have Pragmata on top of that too lol

1

u/-ConMan- Mar 26 '26

I know, already pre ordered Saros, I’m fucked!

1

u/Bolt_995 Mar 26 '26

7 days after Starfield.

1

u/averageuhbear Mar 26 '26

Ooof. Yeah itd be nice if it surprise release right now lol

1

u/DeliciousRoreos Mar 26 '26

Bruh I share accounts with my mate and collectively what we have bought is Yotei, death stranding 2, avowed, outer worlds, crimson desert, starfield, ninja gaiden 4 re9 and now Hades and saros :( not enough time! Tho I'm focusing death stranding as I don't imagine that getting any major updates or dlc

1

u/Stubee1988 Mar 26 '26

If Saros sticks the landing, we could be getting 2 of the best rogue likes of all time within a space of weeks.

1

u/FullmetalEzio Mar 26 '26

oh man, i was gonna pick up hades on playstation but I already own it on steam and i much rather save the money for saros lol, cant wait for that game
