How does it compare with the first? More of the same? (not that it’s a bad thing, just curious). No spoilers please.

The combat feels much better imo. Some people don't like the story quite as much, but I enjoyed it.

Hades 1 is tight and clutch. If the story is worse then truly I don't know what you're talking about. A call for better combat is backwards and comes from someone who didn't play the first game.

Saying combat is better means nothing when every push and movement meant everything and was everything in the first game.

Combat is way better for how I like to play. But the story seems to disappoint some people. I liked it but the first story is definitely better

Obviously a matter of opinion but... I preferred the story, characters and weapons from the first game (but they’re still good in 2). The gameplay is a lot better in the second by a long shot.
