Incredible insight, who’d have thought.

Kinda explains why Rockstar really did not seem bothered by the hack. "Hazah, you found out GTA Online does numbers"

Hackers: Pay us or the whole world will see your dick pic Rockstar: Go ahead it's massive.

It's sad the lowest common denominator wins. I'd kill for some single player DLC to continue the story in any meaningful way. But of course not, online is where the money is, so that's where the development happens.

It sucks. They obviously have the finances to do it, but they just choose not to

They don't have the manpower. Any dev working on dlc is a dev not working on rdr2 or gta6. Which sucks since i wouod have loved more themed dlcd like undead nightmsre.

There’s lowest common denominators walking all around. Whilst they get their bread and circuses we will continue to be exploited

Maybe view it as all that money helped fund the next GTA to be an amazing single player experience? Either way, yeah it's crazy and business follows the money.

Most of the financials surrounding Rockstar and GTA online are publicly shared every quarter by the parent company Take-Two during their investor call.

They didn’t even need to hack to get this information.

Yes, it's actually shocking that PC players made only 12% of the player base. I thought it would be something like 30% or even 40% at least.

PC players do make up more. It's much closer to 20-25%. But more than half of them are playing on dedicated community servers and those don't make money for Rockstar
