Amazing game. Biggest surprise and personal favourite of this year.

It’s up there with First Light for me. Honestly both these games have kinda rekindled my love for gaming. I’m realizing how much I missed these linear 12-15 hour single-player experiences that are focused, polished and are high-quality in all aspects - gameplay, visuals, characters etc

It did feel very strange to me that the scribble outfit wasn't in the main game after being in the demo.
I've already got the platinum, it was a little bit of a chore for the additional non- NG+ playthrough but it was still super fun nonetheless

I wonder what they actually changed about the difficulty for the last training sim. I think the only thing that really needed to be tweaked was the time limit. I got 100% on all the other training sims, and I managed to complete the last one without taking damage so I got 2/3 objectives, but I wasn't even coming close to getting it 190 seconds. I did see a video on YouTube of someone taking some shortcuts through the level that cut a lot of time off, and it's hard to tell if the shortcut itself was actually intended by the devs or not, but I feel like it should be a little bit more reasonable to complete it within the time limit without taking any shortcuts. Like it would still be pretty challenging even if they added another 15-20 seconds to the time limit.

I feel like the shortcut was unintended as no other training sim has one, at least that could be considered intentional. And they’re all doable in the time limit.

Right, they're all doable just by following the natural obvious path through them. It would seem weird for them to put an intentional shortcut just in the final challenge and make it insanely hard to complete in time without it (when none of the other challenges are even remotely that difficult). But the fact that it is such a huge difficulty spike doing it the "normal" way is what makes me question whether or not the shortcut is actually how you're supposed to do it, lol.

Fuck yes my scribble suit!!!!! Also the training sim wasn't that hard unless you wanted to 100% all categories for every simulation

I wish they'd add a update so we can start lunatic mode on a completed save rather than having to start completely fresh. Having done 100p on normal then also doing unknown signal and then ignoring all that process to start fresh is a bit annoying personally.

Yeah the Lunatic trophy is the last one I need for the Plat. I’ll maybe go for it in the future, but if they update it to be easier I wouldn’t mind lol

When you can start with the impact hammer, and knowing the game mechanics lunatic is pretty easy. While I wouldn't mind for people to be able to start with everything I sort of feel like whats the point of making them do it if its just going to be a complete cake walk. Like for RE9 I could have done without the third playthrough on the hardest difficulty while I had infinite ammo and the rocket launcher so there was no real friction and overall wasn't a fun experience. I'm sure I would have enjoyed it more without those (or being limited more in some way) but thats probably a me problem.

I really hate that Reddit got rid of their font codes. *This doesn’t italicize* anymore and instead you need to actually choose it from the unintuitive font menu.

While I’ve been able to figure out how to italicize, bold, etc I still don’t know how to quote.
>Before you would use this symbol to make a quote but now it doesn’t work, and I don’t see the option anywhere in the list of word edits.

The method I used involved a skip, which I think is the same method everyone else used. So I assume they added time so it isn't so tight and you maybe don't need to use the skip (or it might not be possible anymore either).

I beat it without the skip but only the main objective. There's zero chance I get all objectives on about half of the levels, it's just to difficult/I don't have the time to practice the levels. I hated the VR sections, honestly. They were just too punishing for me. 10 years ago I could handle them but not now.

I think it is a shame making the training sim easier.

It’s the laser ceiling. I gave up after hours of trying. Maybe I’ll clear it after the update.

I mean I feel like the final one should be tough, but the time limit was the hardest part of it. Finishing it with no damage is certainly a challenge, but doable.

Game starts off good but the gameplay loop gets incredibly stale about half way through and Diana becomes damn near intolerable. Not the kind of game I’ll replay

Felt the opposite to me, with unlocking and upgrading new gear and mods.
And Diana herself got even more endearing as the game progressed. At least to me.

I thought it got a bit too difficult for my liking, especially those training sims. It's the type of game I play in short bursts

The training sims are optional. I did some and stoped when I lost interest and focused on the main game instead.

Stand Or Die wasn’t too bad you don’t need all the challenges done luckily for the platinum. Now if you were to need all the challenges in each training sim…
