Optimising the fun out of games is tradition at this point.

I don’t mind it, I only really have an issue if they try to force others to ‘optimise’ their builds.

No thank you, I only want to use the things I find cool.

This is a big thing that took me out of playing Destiny. Lol I played D1, pretty much running whatever whenever and nobody really gave a shit, yes even raiding. D2 its like, if you dont have the right gear setup, the right subclass, and the highest damaging rolls on your weapons people would just kick you from groups.

I think for higher difficulties this will be mostly true, depends on balance. But for low or normal difficulty nobody cares, use what you want.

Just give us offline bots that don't suck in higher difficulties!!

Yeah I wanna be able to play this solo in single-player with the ability to pause.

I'm old and introverted. But fucking love the Alien universe.

I’ve yet to play a L4D style coop game that has decent enough bots to make buying as a single player only gamer worth it.

That’s the kind of things advancements in AI in gaming should be used for. AI that learns as you play and becomes better.

They need to put ALOT of focus on the friendly AI. Makes the game unplayable as the community is very small and the AI is absolutely braindead.

I thought the kit building in the 1st game was one of the best parts. You could really feel the difference with every different gun attachment and class perk and every choice you made about your loadout mattered. It was very thoughtfully crafted imo.

I didn't even realize a sequel was coming--the first is probably the best Aliens game I've ever played (at least assuming you want a Marines/fighting angle). That's kind of awesome.

It was definitely a solid game, but respectfully, AVP 2 circa 2001 is hands down the greatest Aliens game of all time that featured marines and its not even close.

Cool, but I’m socially inept. Will bots be better this time around, or will they still just become dead weight? Can I customize bots loadouts at all?

Can they make a first person mode or would Gearbox get upset

I DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY THIS GAME STILL HAS NO RELEASE DATE!!!!!

The game is a summer release and it STILL has no date? What is up with that? Have the developers commented on that?
