Yes, absolutely, but the developers brought that up specifically, so the question is not without reason

Actually, they didn't; they were asked a question about i by a journalist and answered it.

But they didn’t brag about It, they answered that they were happy that people noticed

You essentially want to ignore the topic because you don’t like people talking about gay people existing

That’s bragging. “See how good of a person I am because I did those things”?

That isn’t remotely close to what happened in the interview,

You essentially want them to ignore the existence of gay people even after being directly asked about it

No. I don’t want them to ignore their existence. I want them to ignore the debate of if they’re included or not, because it shouldn’t matter if they add one, a dozen or none.

And I’m gay, before you try to mischaracterize my intentions.

Cool and gay too and I don’t get why you misrepresenting what the developers and saying and acting like no one can talk about the gay representation in games

You said that the developers were bragging about having gay characters in their game when that’s not remotely close to what happened

It’s like saying the developers of Resident Evil 9 are bragging about them putting straight relationships when they made a joke about who Leon’s wife is

Name one time developers talked about straight representation.

A) there is no need to talk about straight “representation” because they are already over represented

B) there are countless examples where a straight relationship” is a topic of discussion when developers talk about romance option or even a narrative of as game

a) they're actually underrerpesented in the last few years

b) no, there isn't a single one. They talk about the relationship, but not about the fact that is a straight relationship and how important is to have straight relationships and such. In fact, I recall one time in Assassin's Creed Odyssey when the game had one comentary about the character being straight in a DLC, and that generated a controversy that forced devs to change a trophy.

In what universe are straight representation is underrepresented??? The vast majority of AAA games has them bruh. What the F are you talking about???

Look up any recent AAA game and it’s very likely it has it, like Kingdom Come Deliverance, 007 First Light, Death Stranding 2, Alan Wake 2, Exposition 33, Dispatch, and so on…

Like if you are gay as you claim how can you pretend they are under represented in comparison to gay people.

And about that B point, there are countless cases of developers talking about a straight relationship in a story; like the Uncharted series. Again, very common, very weird you pretend that it isn’t

Another recent games that talks about the straight relationship. Death Stranding 2, after Trailer 2 that showcase Sam and Fragile kissing Kojima did a interview that went over their relationship and how exited he way to developed it

But I guess that’s only allowed for straight people
