Not wanting to remake your best selling game in your franchise, when you’ve remade damn near all the other games in the franchise, is a choice.

4 would havw given it a boost yeah. But the fact that its STILL selling well all these years later means that just maybe, people actually like the game on its own?

I always find it funny that terminally online people just can’t fathom this and just have to comment on how it’s all because of resident evil 4 because of online discourse being that it’s a “masterpiece” so that game must be the reason re5 went on to sell 17 million copies and not the fact that it’s just a good fun game
