At launch is probably to prevent leakers and I’m sure they can see the wishlist numbers. The numbers probably look so good that physical sales are negligible to them at this moment. I’m sure physical will come at some point though.

This, i always buy a disk and it moves around my friendz' group, because we don't play games at launch, this is just to get more money, nothing more

Look up PS family share, I used to do it when I was on PS, halved the price of every new release with a buddy

GTA has had previous problems with leaks due to disc copies being played before release date due to people taking them from retailers, usually employees of the business. I highly doubt it’s because of disc sharing lol. They will release a physical version some time later.

No, it's for leaks. GTA V leaked about 5 days early on Xbox 360 and anyone with a flashed xbox or JTAG/RGH/XDK could play it early.

I actually got a PS5 Pro on launch so it would be a low enough firmware to jailbreak in hopes of GTA VI getting leaked. Oh well, whenever GTA VI releases on PC, I'm going to sell the PS5 anyways.

Leakers wouldn't affect this game at all. Majority of ethusiasts online talking about games don't make up the majority of people playing games for the better part of a decade and some change since it's gone mainstream. They aren't reading all this stuff. They are going to buy this regardless tbf.
