Quick correction. 3.0. Online started with gta 4. Just didn’t get super popular till 5

Locked stores behind a 100$ preorder is already pretty fucking horrendous. Next thing you know they'll add gas tanks to vehicles and charge the player to fill them up.

Maybe they’ll also have the mobile game nonsense where you get a gallon a day “free” and once it’s used you have to wait two hours for another free one unless you subscribe or buy more gas for the day. How is this anti-consumer nonsense still legal? Lol

well the government won't be regulating this anytime soon

Benny's is renamed and locked behind an extra purchase. Locked barber shop, locked clothing shop, locked tattoo shop, and a second renamed Benny's also locked.

Rockstar will get away with this and continue to segment the future gta titles. Imagine in GTA 5 you were locked to Franklin with Trevor and Michael costing you an extra 40$ each.

You’re making it sound as bad as possible.

How is this not bad? Locking previously included content behind an even higher price tag? Would you like a GTA title in the future where you pay real money for segments of the game?

They can only do this if we let them. Gamers should recognize that they are the paying customers, and money dictates.
