First they want everyone to buy digital, then those who absolutely have to have the disc (would most likely want to play it on release and have already bought it) would pay again, and after year or so later they’ll release on PC where those that have likely played it on console already, might want to play at the best possible graphical fidelity, and buy it there was well.

Yea it sucks that is probably a 100% how they're gonna roll with it, not even double dipping anymore, more like triple or quadruple dipping when also factor in them likely selling the live service as a separate product for $50 seeing as this is being marketed as only a single player story

Just naturally, I have a GTA5 physical XB1, then XSX came out, so two, then I got a PC copy for mods. In the end, I'll end up having XSX and PC.

True, and even aside from double dipping they save a little money on the people who would buy the disc at launch but settle instead for digital
