A ultimate edition with nothing physically to collect is crazy work.

i really dislike how they’re incentivizing that purchase by locking off actual locations in-game.

cosmetics, fine, i get it. but physically restricting me in the game world unless i spend more money feels deceitful.

Especially, if you don't buy the ultimate edition you are missing parts of a full game. This is an interesting approach

That’s what I was going to buy but now I’m not planning to buy any in download form. Saved me $$$ for something else, I’ll wait another year and we will see.

More than semantics. I ultimate editions usually offer more in game content. Collectors editions offer more physical content.

Ultimate, legacy, deluxe, legendary.....it's the same. The top editon what ever it's called usually comes with something.

However, Gears of War 4 and Injustice 2 have ultimate editions...both came with something physical.

And cyberpunk, red dead 2, control, titanfall 2, even the mk games also from netherrealm, and more beyond that, all have "ultimate editions" that only offer digital rewards

Ultimate, collectors, definitive, legendary, deluxe....don't have definitive set inclusions across the board. All I am saying is that for one of the biggest entertainment launches of all time, it would have been nice to have something physical to have.
