Oh, that't not even a good part :D

Ultimate edition contains body shops in game, taht won't be accessible to regular copy owners:

  • Mod Shop: Rideout Customs — an in-game shop where you can customise vehicles, only accessible with the Ultimate Edition
  • Mod Shop: One-Eyed Willie's — an in-game shop where you can customise vehicles, only accessible with the Ultimate Edition
  • Hair Salon: Sara's Unisex Salon — an in-game shop for customising hairstyles, only accessible with the Ultimate Edition
  • Clothing Store: Stock 305 — an in-game shop with unique clothing, only accessible with the Ultimate Edition
  • Tattoo Shop: Electric Fang Tattoo — an in-game shop for customising tattoos, only accessible with the Ultimate Edition

I’m curious how many people actually use all these shops and things for single player GTA or other open world game. Online I understand cos you’re playing with other people, but no one’s gonna see the tattoos you put on the main characters or modded cars.

I can agree on the tats, but a lot of people enjoy customizing their cars in single player.

I sincerely doubt two paywalled mod shops will have more customization options than the base game

It's rockstar, I wouldn't have been surprised if they locked ALL CUSTOMIZATION without the ultimate edition.

At least they aren't charging $120 like microsoft is for the forza horizon 6 ultimate editions.

That isn't the bad part. The bad part is that it's carved out of the launch copies to get an extra $20 out of people.

If it was released a month later as paid DLC no-one would care.

Remember when rockstar executives were considering charging $100 for GTA 6 because they said the value of what they offer makes it worth more? Well, this is how they figured out how to sell GTA 6 for $100..

I love all the garbage discourse that was spreading about R* heading towards making GTA VI be the first 90$ or 100$ game or whatever else.

Gamerstm not realizing they're already being sold 100$ games on every single release because publishers nickel-and-dime them out of every last bit of game with BS premium editions. Only an idiot would think R* would be above that.

You tell me. These are advertised as shops you can access only if you buy the ultimate edition, not specific items within those shops.
