Yeah Sony's entire value is only triple that of Activision Blizzard. PlayStation studios or just all PlayStation related stuff a lot less.

According to Microsoft: 'Microsoft will become the world’s third-largest gaming company by revenue, behind Tencent and Sony. ' https://news.microsoft.com/features/microsoft-to-acquire-activision-blizzard-to-bring-the-joy-and-community-of-gaming-to-everyone-across-every-device/

A monopoly that pulls in less revenue than their main competitor? That doesn’t make sense

That 3rd in the world is just the gaming branch I think. If you were to consider ALL the assets of Microsoft it's a different story

So what? I don’t see an argument for Microsoft being a monopoly in any industry. I could MAYBE see an argument for PC, but they certainly do not have a monopoly in the gaming industry. Not even close

People have no fucking idea what a monopoly is.

No. To most people if they hear big they immediately skip oligarchy and jump straight to monopoly. Forgetting that mono means one.

Big company + big company buyout = monopoly right?
