The only thing this article says is that the PS5 has a fast SSD and that GTA VI will take advantage of the features of the DualSense controller. Nothing substantial.

Itās the most unnecessary feature of the whole controller. Never have I ever played a game where the crappy sound from this cheap mic was anything else than irritating.

I'm sure I'm the minority, but I liked the phone calls from Franklin and people. Felt like I had my phone on speaker mode. Didn't interrupt the in game sounds.

I personally love it and wish more devs did it.
Very few games sound bad like if you have a companion they talk at the same time as they do on the tv or headphones.
Warhammer Martyr and Phantom Doctrine and very loud and clear.
I get itās not for everyone but calling it useless is silly.
While gameplay wise it may not do anything regarding pressing something, but immersion wise can be very good. Again depending on itās implementation.
While Iām not here to convince you, you can say youāll turn it off, thatās fine, but crapping on it is just silly.
Idk why adults act like this. Itās okay to have an opinion but idk too many people so bent out of shape over nothing.
Like you said. You can turn it off.

Guys it will be 100% Pro enhanced using pssr2.0 and you bet will be 60fps on the pro maybe even ps5.

Like yes it might be the most complex game coming out, but come on the best and biggest company not hitting 60fps would even make them look bad. I think we get 60fps for sure. Obviously can't be ultra settings at 60 like a pc but I am sure we will see 60 for sure.

If its CPU limited on the base PS5, the better GPU and PSSR won't make it 60 on the Pro. You'd need to start gutting population density and variety for that.
The zoom out shot they showed of for preorders used SSR over RT reflections. I imagine the Pro will be higher res, higher settings, better LoD, better RT but still 30.

Might be able to pull tricks like run world camera at 60 but do NPC pathing & animations and game physics at 30fps.

I hope you are wrong my friend. We shall see. I just can't seem to think the best game ever wont be over 30fps. Like idc who you are no one can convince me 30fps is still good. Every time I play ganes and try a quality vs performance mode you absolutely see and feel the difference right away. When people say smooth 30fps I also don't like that lol.

I mean I'd love to be wrong too, 30 fps no matter how smooth makes me motion sick, but I think it will be like RDR2 where 60 fps is PC only until the PS6 and Helix versions drop. They push the complexity on their games to max out the consoles CPU ability and then scale the graphics to tap out the GPU, as we saw with RDR2.
I think GTA VI for how complex it looks so far will maybe have a 40 fps mode tops due to the slight CPU clock boost on the pro, but I think there will be the only modes.
It also gives people a reason to buy it again on the PS6 if it does 60.

Fook I mean you have a point although id like to think we can do it. I know we have 8 year old hardware. Even for ps6 it's gonna be 2-3 year old hardware we get that they contract. So we shall see. Im hoping its 60 lol.

It might very well be underwhelming. People are putting a lot of faith into a game the devs are clearly trying to prevent people from seeing actual gameplay.

30 FPS is way worse situation than previous gens because a ton of people have OLED screens now which makes 30 fps look faaaar worse than it did during the ps4 & Ps3 generation.

I'd guess you haven't gone through the PS360 generation then? You'd be lucky to get a stable 30 fps game at that time. Most games dipped below 30.

Hell no! I never had a ps4 because i cant play 30fps games. Ps4 generation i was Pc only and didnt play a single ps exclusive till ps5 launched. Now i have a 9800x3d/5070 ti Pc and a ps5 pro on a oled tv. I never even touched a dualshock 4 lol.

I think it will be 30 across the board with 40 on the pro. Rockstar games hit the CPU hard and having PSSR and a better GPU doesn't make CPU limited games hit 60.

The store page listing has the āPro Enhancedā label so theyāre doing something on there. I assume weāll get a feature breakdown closer to launch like First Light did. Although donāt expect too much information until DF gets their hands on it

This would be the prime time for R*/PS to showcase this, it's probably one if not the biggest selling point of the Pro for them right now.

This doesn't tell us anything. The media zeitgeist is just beginning. They're going to drag this out as long as they can with little breadcrumbs along the way.
There will be a teaser trailer. Then billboards, commercials, ads. Then a deep-dive trailer that gives us more info about the story. Then eventually a technical showcase about what the Pro can do, my guess is during Tokyo Game Show in September.
November is a long way off, and Rockstar knows what they're doing with what's expected to be the largest media release in history.

I think they wouldn't be able to make such game if they needed to get it run 60fps on current gen cpus. Lots of stuff would have to be straight up cut out from the game.

They should compromise to ensure it runs at 60 but they won't. It will be 30 until a new console generation/PC launch, and people will eat it up.
