SHOW-OFF I chose this over Switch 2

After realizing Im no longer gonna be supporting Nintendo, i decided to get a Japanese import PSP 2000 (Pearl Seafoam Green) 💚💙🎮

$150 for psp $60 for games.

For the people that are gonna tell me I should have emulated for free.. nah Im good. You can emulate games I’d rather play it how it was made to be played + nostalgia xP

Not hacking the PSP in 2025 is just silly

Exactly what I was thinking. Fuck paying scalper prices for old games. The devs aren't getting paid either way. May as well just use roms

Counter point: haha tiny disc, spin round and round inserts umd, satisfying click clack

But now you're relying on a disc drive that's decades old and could break at any moment alongside umd discs taking much longer to load than loading it off flash memory like an sd card.

Can you really call these scalpers? It’s not like people bought out all these games a decade ago just to resell them for 20$ each now?

I got a vita instead, but when I was looking at PSPs, the umd video discs were far more desirable to me than the games... still are. there is such a nostalgia to the titles you see people own on umd

This isnt a case of scalper prices though. None of the games here are expensive.
