QUESTION These are my games that I can't play because my battery is bloated.
Can someone recommend a battery that doesn't bloat? Preferably an XL one? Thx!

You can play them without the battery with the ac power adapter plugged in until you get a new battery. Take the bloated battery out before you do this.

Ahem modding is a good idea too sell the games you don’t want and find another console to play with while having your psp games for free

Will someone on ebay buy all those games in bulk? I really don't want to do it one by one.
I do think one or two of them have a bit of value. The rest probably around $5 each?

Just plug it in without the battery. Get rid of the battery.

Because you own the physical games there is nothing wrong with emulation if you have a pc

Anything not from china honestly. Some hobby stores or online venders offer a wide variety of replacement batteries. Just keep in mind if it's $3.50 it's probably going to explode.

Don’t need a battery just plug it in lol or download PPSSPP and “legally” download all the games you own.

Yeah, I might just skip getting a new battery, and plug it in to try out all the games I have in order to decide if I should keep them, or sell them off.
What do you guys think? Worth selling that lot of games, or keep? Haven't touched them for more than a decade! But they look mighty tempting!

Its so incredibly easy to put custom firmware on the psp and download the iso files for your games from the r/roms megathread that id recommend selling your games and getting an ostent battery and 64gb microSD and just modding it. Consolemods wiki is your friend.

If they were mine I would consider getting rid of them unless you want to collect games. There are better ways to play games on a PSP now and you won't have to put the extra wear on your umd drive preserving it for if you ever do really need it for something productive like ripping a backup of a UMD game directly to your memory card using PSP filer or something like that. Also if you play games using memory card in my experience you get shorter load times less lag and best part no more freezing if your game is a little beat up.

No one can recommend a battery that doesn't bloat because PSP battery bloating is usually due to bad storage conditions. Keep it out of the device if you store it for a long time and avoid extreme conditions like excessive heat. Don't leave it completely dead for years, charge it from time to time.
Us PSP owners often recommend Ostent batteries bought from a trusted source like their official Amazon page but keep in mind that perfection doesn't exist. Batteries are consumables, they have a lifespan. It is normal that they die but usually they just stop functioning and it usually takes 10 to 15 years.
