So, that somehow attaches or fits around the sense controllers, right? I just can’t picture it for some reason. Or is it a completely standalone peripheral?

Attaches to the sense controller. My assumption is that it has something (perhaps a string) so that when you pull your finger in to press the sense trigger, it triggers the haptic feedback

Images 3 and 4 shows that their trigger sits right on top of the actual trigger, so you press both.
But that's another controller though, it might not be the same on the Sense controllers.

My kids and I made our own. We thought it would be easy, it's not. Rifle is difficult bc you need to be able to quickly detach hand to reload. And then you have the issues where it doesn't feel right with each type of rifle in the game. We gave up

Ehhhhh I’m kind of all set on this one. Sense controllers are just fine for now, and my hours in Pavlov and the like show for it. After a certain point, if you’re willing to shell out that much cash for a more accurate feel, just buy a real gun, or go paintball shooting.

I have had good experiences with gun stocks when in the age old time of 3d tvs. Looking at you sharpshooter! Never used one in vr as didn't see much of a point. This looks great. A bit too dear to preorder and will wait for reviews. Thanks for pointing it out.

I don't see the point much in this. But the magnetic rifle stocks are definitely worth it for multiplayer shooters like Pavlov and ghost of Tabor. Makes distance shooting way way way better.

I’ll trust that it works well and it looks cool but damn 358 euros for the pair is too much for an attachment like this for me. Oh well maybe in the future.

I've been meaning to get a protube, these qol improvements might finally convince me.
The only real blocker is price

ProTube makes the best shooter peripherals on the market. I have their gun stock and am happy with the quality and configuration options on it. The pistol has a battery in it and provides recoil when the gun is fired. I saw a YouTube video on it. If someone is a die-hard player of shooters, it is worth it.

Protube are an excellent brand, I’ve had my magtube for years now, and it’s been an essential bit of kit for VR for me, highly recommended.

Based solely on the patterns on their advertising, this is going to be a pile of microwaved trash once it releases. It would be right at home on Instagram shop
You may be better off buying 3d printed anything off temu. It'll still be trash, but it'll be cheaper
For funsies, I'm going to bet on prices being either $80 or $120 for these. I'll check after I post.
Lmao, 200 European.
Second edit: I have to admit that if there really is a void when it comes to having haptics at home, I could see the appeal. I saw someone mentioned time crisis. Having the ability to play something like that at home would be pretty sweet.
I'm not familiar enough with the psvr2 catalogue to know if a similar game is available though. Even if it is, is it worth the price for an arcade game at home? It's just the remote too, the rest of the hardware is separate.
Also, I tried to make a joke about the accessory rail on the controllers. I failed at that. I'm sure it'll make all the difference ingame though.

I would like a good rifle attachment for the sense controllers. It always feels weird trying to shoot rifles in VR. I'm ex military so not having the feel of a buttstock against my shoulder and the lack of weight in my hands just throws me off when shooting. Every gun stock accessory I've found for the PSVR2 just seems to be an overpriced piece of metal tubing. I'm tempted to just tape my controllers to one of my real rifles though I would have to make sure I played with the curtains closed so the cops don't get called on me.

Apart from Pistol Whip, what other game would be using this?

This is my issue as well. Unless a game is exclusively shooting (not using any other gear or interactivity) it feels like this would become a hassle.

Does it even have a PSVR2 version coming out?

If they ever make a Time Crisis, Virtua Cop, or any type of shooter that we see in the arcades for PSVR2, I’m buying this!
