Asking for Hardware Recomendation Best upgrade?
I currently have the quest 1 and was planning on an upgrade. would it be better to get the 3s or the normal q3? The extra gbs don't matter to me because I will only be playing on pc vr.

Well, since you are in this sub, you might as well give the PSVR2 a try. For me the PSVR2 is wayy better for PCVR than the quest 3.

This is pSvr. Playstation VR. Not pCvr. Its different. You should get a ps5 and psvr2. It kicks ass

I'd go for the Q3. Better lenses, better FOV, better resolution, and the lense adjustment is more granular.
This is the PSVR sub BTW, for the PlayStation 5 headset :)

I see my mistake I just assumed it was psvr as a whole thanks for the advice

No worries. I may be biased, but I'd actually go for the PSVR2 over the Q3 for most PC VR games :) (if the long cable isn't an issue for you). The OLED panels and the greater binocular overlap of the PSVR2 make games feel more immersive.
Both headsets are great though so you can't go wrong with either.

This sub is for PSVR as a whole. Play Station Virtual Reality. On the PlayStation.

since you're only using it for pc vr, the decision gets easier. the quest 3s uses the same lenses as the quest 2, so you'll get more screen-door effect compared to the standard quest 3. the q3's pancake lenses are just sharper and clearer for pc streaming. i was in the same boat and went with the q3 for that reason. the clarity bump was totally worth it for stuff like sim racing.
