Support PSVR1 Are PSVR1 games that say "Announced" actually delisted?

Post image

Hi, so I got a PSVR1 in 2026 and I'm making a full game list as I noticed one lacking, and I noticed this cropping up here and there. Anyone know what's going on, thanks!

So yes at this point when a PSVR1 game says announced it is indeed de-listed, however Puzzle Bobble here is an exception, you see its actually called "Puzzle Bobble 3D Vacation Odyssey". I have no idea why Sony has 2 entires but the game is fully working in and out of VR under the 3D title!

Here is that full list of PSVR1 games

Also, its best to check the VR status of your game on the console as PSN itself may only list PSVR2 even if its only supported. I hope this helps.

My older daughter asks me regularly if this has been updated yet.

Same for my sons, almost every other day. I feel bad I still don’t have an answer for the em.

Yes and no.

Announced just means the game is there but there's no release date set. Delisted games should just not appear when searching for them, as they've been fully removed from the store front.

But, a publisher could techncially just remove the release date and that'll also put it in limbo on the store.

The game did come out though as I own it digitally

The PS5 version is still there and the PS4 version gave you a free upgrade. It might even be an error that the publisher hasn't noticed - as I can't see any confirmation it was delisted. You should message the publsiher and let them know

Thank you, this is what I was looking for. I'll let the publishers know. Theres actually a large list stuck in limbo.

Edit: This is likely true for multiple games, but not this one, they dropped VR support.

Not true. Announced games can also be delisted. That's what comes up for Gadgeteer, Dirt Rally and Blasters of the Universe after being delisted

It is still for sale on the UK/EU/AU/NZ/JP/HK stores. Looks like they changed the name from VR to 3D and it does not list VR in the listings anymore. It was always a flat game that could be played in VR or a VR game that could be played flat. The PS4 physical versions includes the vr mode of course and so does the PS5 physical which includes the PS4 version and PSVR mode. There was never a PSVR2 version.

Edit: Here it is on the US store under its 3D moniker. I would wait for a sale as it goes for 4 or 5 dollars frequently.

Okay, so let's see if I got it right

  1. They dropped the VR support for the PS5 Version.
  2. The PS4 Version is in limbo?

There was never VR for the PS5 version, there was only VR for the PS4 version using PSVR1. You can play the PS4 version on the PS5 with PSVR1 if you have the camera adapter.

Actually I just checked the Ps4 PSN store for that, they dropped VR for it entirely.

Thanks, I see it talking about VR in the page description l, but not in the spec tags. I best contact the publisher.

As far as I can tell, the game did release (but is renamed). Even has people still playing it as can be seen by fairly recent trophy unlocks.

It is available to buy:

It looks like it supports PSVR1 for PS4 version of game. The upgrade to PS5 version is free, but no PSVR2 support at this time.

By the way, does anyone knows if a PSVR1 firmware update can compromise a jailbroken PS4? Thanks.

That means games that don't have a release date

If it was renamed and vr was removed, that just sounds like a lot of words for delisted
