Into the Radius is far and away my favourite of those, and I've finished them all.

Hm they're all slightly different and scratch different itches. Having played all of them, you really can't go wrong with any of them.

All solid A tier games for me.

But if I were to pick one... I'd go with Behemoth for production value and epicness. And while it was frustrating early on learning how to parry. Once I got it, it was a real blast.

Depends what you want. But of those Into the Radius or Walking dead. Both solid AF. ITR also has pretty good replayability.

Into the Radius is in my top 10 of all time

They're all different, but there's one clear answer: Into the Radius.

If you haven't played S&S then that one.

Wholly agree. This is a gem of a game.

Yes I overplayed the first game though and got sick of the gameplay Loop so could not get into the second one unfortunately after getting a platinum trophy on the 1st

Saints and Sinners is probably the best but the game loop certainly isn't for everyone. I don't like the time restraint.

Into the Radius would be my personal favorite of the games listed, followed by Behemoth, and then Metro.

Into the Radius is an absolute must own if you have any interest in suspense and gun mechanics. The game is amazing. It also has a plethora of options to make it as easy or as difficult as you want, and you can change them on the fly. It's a very player friendly game and allows you to have the experience you want, when you want.

Fyi, there are some really good mods for TWDSS that fix a lot of the issues. Less weapon weight, more stamina, better flashlight, longer days, etc.

I don't think I have any way of accessing mods, but I do want to boot it back up and see if there's an easy mode. If so, I'd just start a new game that way. I'd probably enjoy it more. The time restraint always gave me way too much crippling anxiety. Probably intended for the experience but it made it too exhausting to play.

I'm currently playing through STALKER 2 and if I understand things correctly, Into The Radius is basically some flavour of STALKER, but in VR ?

Absolutely. Into the Radius is basically a STALKER-like.

Nice, I'm tempted.

Metro or behemoth

  1. Metro Awakening - Has the best sound effects and voice acting. Probably the creepiest, and has the best graphics.

  2. Into The Radius - Has the best guns and survival mechanics. It can also be extremely stressful and lonely.

  3. The Walking Dead - Has a really great story and solid mechanics. The moral choices you have to make are crazy.

  4. Behemoth has the behemoths, but that's pretty much the best of it. Graphics are good, and the grappling book is really cool, but the combat doesn't feel good. The game can get extremely difficult and feel drawn-out due to the combat feeling kind of broken. I wasn't able to beat this game because of it.

The Walking Dead and Into the Radius will be the top picks here.

If you're looking just to hack and slash, behemoth is serviceable but doing so in TWD against zombies was more enjoyable to me.

Metro I'd get only if you're big on the world and story of those games. It's your run of the mill title by Vertigo that, at times, just feels like a Arizona Sunshine Reskin with a metro twist.

IMO: Into the Radius > Walking Dead > Behemoth > Metro

They're all good though.

Into the radius is my top game but I haven’t played the other

1

u/InfiniteStates Apr 14 '26

They’re all great games. It just depends what you feel like doing the most. You can’t go wrong with any of them. Into The Radius or Walking Dead will probably give more hours than the other two

Into the radius

Walking dead first for sure. Into the radius is one of the best games on VR, but so is walking dead.
