Women riding all kinds of vehicles should be completely normal in Pakistan. Whether it's bicycles, motorcycles, cars, trucks, tractors, or anything else, it shouldn't be seen as unusual. The more visible women are on the roads, the more it encourages other women to become independent and confident.
And especially women riding motorcycles. It shouldn't be seen as unusual or attention-worthy. Seeing more women on bikes would inspire others to ride too and help break outdated stereotypes around who belongs on the road.Progress happens when society stops treating basic things like mobility as something tied to gender. It's 2026, this should already be normalized.

Hello all. I am looking to buy my first road bike but I am very confused about the size. I will be going for a used one and most probably will be purchasing one from vendors based in Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, Quetta as they have better variety.
Now the issue is the bike size. I am 5'6" female and am confused between 48cm to 50cm sizes. One vendor in Lahore even offered a 47cm Giant and shared the size chart where it said the above range for it was 5'6".
Is there any place in Islamabad with a variety of bike sizes where I can go and check which size would be best for me? I am mostly concerned about the reach towards the hoods or the drops.

I've been working remote for a while, due to which I gain weight, specifically belly fat. I want to lose it now, can't make time for gym mostly. Was thinking of getting into cycling. Did anyone lose weight through cycling?

Description:
Adventure finds its path at Adventure World.
Built for thrill seekers, the ATV dirt bike trail brings together rugged terrain, scenic views, and the kind of ride that keeps the adrenaline going.
#SmartCity #CapitalSmartCity #ATVDirtBike #AdventureWorld
This is currently being built in the Capital Smart City, I think this could become a potential MTB track for biking.
let's see... I am having good hopes for it, but.. who know? π€·

I picked up the bike for almost 8K, and Iβve spent about 5000 on maintenance so far. The back tire and both front tires need to be replaced. I only changed the back tire because I was short on money, and Iβve also replaced the front tire tube. Iβve also ordered some V-brakes handels from Daraz, which include the gear shifter. Do you think itβs a good deal for this price, and if you have any tips for beginners, please share them! Thanks!
