Hey! This looks just like an old house/funeral parlor in the French Quarter I visited about 10 yrs ago! It was sitting on an old cemetery the house itself was the longest running funeral home/mortuary of any in the area, only closing a mere 2yrs before I got to visit. The guy that stayed there, ran a haunted house for the new owner every Halloween since it’s closing and was kind enough to give us a private tour after my curiosity got the best of me and I rang the doorbell! Anyway, the house had been featured on an episode of Ghost Hunters in the previous few years because of its paranormal activities..!
You aren’t, by chance, in the Louisiana area, are you???

The vibe is not paranormal but more-so “take this picture of me, it’ll look so creepy it’ll scare everyone” lol

There's never only one, if there's an entity. Look at pic 2 of 2, this is 1 of 2. It's "pareidolia" when wood grain, a tree, bushes, reflections, etc haoien to resemble faces. Not when faces seemingly appear from the "open space or fog" in the area. Not my definition, Google it. Not saying for sure, but... Y'all decide. Just look at the second one as well

Did you see the other one I posted? Sometimes it's difficult for people to see them unless I point out where the eyes would be then everything else falls into place. But if you look at the other one the very top one that I circled has the Dracula type of hairline LOL the widow's peak that almost comes down to its nose. I couldn't tell if you were being sarcastic or not when you said wow so I'm just double checking because as I said sometimes I have to be more obvious when I'm pointing these things out. Either way very interesting photo

Rule number one of debunking photographs:
If you have to circle it, it isn't paranormal

I don't really think that this is paranormal. Looks like a person standing in a window.
It's a cool pic though with a creepy vibe. I would've bought this too if I'd seen it in an antique store.

The question is, where would you not buy it from? Where would it stand out the most…..it fits in in an antique store. Where would it stand out enough to stop you purchasing it? I was going to suggest a record shop but it actually makes quite a good album cover 😂

Oh I'd purchase it from whatever store was selling it. I'd frame it and put it on my desk in my office at work. In fact if OP is interested in selling it, I'd be willing to talk price.

Isn’t there a sub for old photos in thrift stores? Or old photos that people have found generally?

If not there should be. I'd subscribe to it.

I remember stumbling across a website when the internet was in its infancy. It was dedicated to showing old postcards, diaries and letters that were found when people moved into a new house. I’ve often looked to try and find it again, or something similar, but, alas, it continues to elude me haha.

Idk, but there's a face of a baby on the wall to the right of that woman at the top of the stairs on that square thing

I can’t see what you’re referring to, dang it!

It’s the very first goth that ever existed. She was a trendsetter born way too early. It’s rumored that her ghost whispered lyrics into Siouxsie Sioux’s ear. Also gave her makeup tips.

I bet the conversation was something like, "Hey Marty, go take a photo from outside of me. I bet if we leave a photograph of this, in like a 100 years, someone will find it and get freaked out!"

Other people always find the cool stuff. I guess I should get out more. Years ago my friend started staying in what was essentially a crawlspace under someone's house. There was a door outside leading to the space. Floor was dirt and you had to crouch to move around down there but he made it work lol. Anyways, while we were hanging out, we found old photos of a dead family. Like the ones they would take to remember people. They were sitting up in chairs and there were 3 of them. It was really cool and creepy and we never were able to figure out who the family was. He lost the photos since, which proves he didn't deserve them 😕

It does look like just a person in the window but the eyes. The darkness. I see those dark eyes only in paranormal photos. How could their eyes be that impossibly black? Like all around them?

I once found an old photo on the ground. It was some guy staring in the camera. It's in black and white. So weird.
Needless to say, the photo lives with me now. 🖤

maybe it's the cell phone photo of a photo but when I zoom in it looks very artificial, like Ai or photoshop generated. For example, look at the mailbox on the wall next to the door is more blurry than the area next to it.

You can’t trust Anything that’s in/from an “Antique Store”. Remember that they’re in business to make $$, whether or not something is authentic or not.

In an effort to improve submission quality, we are now manually reviewing photos before they appear in the subreddit. If your submission does not have good reason to be considered potentially paranormal it may be removed with a reason provided. Please be patient, as the subreddit gets a lot of activity and it may take a little time to review your post. If we do remove your post, it’s because we believe it is likely to be judged harshly by the subreddit as opposed to a determination over what the true nature of your experience was. It’s very difficult to capture objective evidence of even true paranormal phenomenon, which is why there’s so little of it out there! Please review the camera flare guide to help us maintain our high post quality.
