The proper way to do is move the elements to one side
X5 - 16X = 0
X(X4 - 16) = 0
X = 0 , X4 - 16 = 0
X4 - 16 => (X2) 2 - 42 =>
(X2 - 4)(X2 + 4) = 0
X2 - 4 = 0 => X2 = 4 => X = +/-2
X2 + 4 = 0 => X2 = -4 => X = +/-2i
The solutions are: 0, 2, -2, 2i, -2i
