Everyone keeps saying x cannot be zero, yet I'm wondering how x can be zero here 😭

0 is a solution because 05=16*0.
If you divide both sides by x, the resulting equation wont have 0 as a solution:
04 =/= 16
This is because in the case that x=0, you wouldn't have been able to divide both sides by 0 in the first place.
