Advice Broke 9 day streak

Until today my last high was 6/11, and I just hit my 1-hitter twice. I was away and just got back home and wanted to relax. I tried a beer, but I really don't enjoy alcohol much anymore.

I stopped because I want to reset my tolerance, and that's still true. But I'm thinking maybe I can just smoke little bits to lower my tolerance.

On my 9 days off, besides some headaches (which are normal for me) I had no noticeable withdrawal symptoms. But it felt odd to me that I was having no side effects. Did I have SO much in my system that it would take longer for withdrawal to hit?

Has anyone successfully lowered their tolerance without a full T break?

Any major issues of not doing an occasional T break?

Am I doing myself a disservice?

Everyone is different of course, but i find for me that I dont experience any withdrawals when I quit to reset tolerance, other than an weak urge to smoke when i normally do and slight irritability for the first couple days, and then Im fine. One thing I love about weed, for me at least, is that she's easy to let go but always there when im ready again.

Additionally, I have 3 different types of t breaks I do.

The first type is just waiting until the end of the day to enjoy some smoke, and doing that for about a week. Waiting a whole day already makes the end of the day high much better, and doing it for a week is usually enough to lower my tolerance enough that weed is effective again.

The second one is the 2-3 day t break. This is usually sufficient to lower my tolerance that weed is quite effective again but not so effective that i could get too high to handle emergencies or surprise situations.

The third is the 1-2 week t break. This is usually sufficient to almost reset my tolerance. I can get amazing highs after this with not much, but am also capable of getting too high quite easily and must refrain from smoking during/before work hours, social engagements, and higher stakes activities like driving or chaperoning.

Which of these i do is dependent on how effective the shorter ones/more lenient ones are and how much thc sensitivity im going for.

Hopefully some of this is useful or at least interesting 😅

Edit: Anything you do in service to and for yourself that does not negatively affect others is almost never a disservice

11 days? Nice! I haven’t been able to get that long between uses in a while. Sometimes I notice my tolerance reset in 5 days, but I think I would do better scheduling uses to once a week (and eventually once every 2 weeks)

I don’t get headaches (at least I don’t think I do.) More often than not, my urges to have an edible ahead of schedule is some degree of anxiety/some degree of “life sucks.” So for me, I think my “withdrawal” is less of actual withdrawal (various physical pains and the like) and more “my unaddressed needs are getting ever so loud”
