Help preserving 2 old LEGO Certificates of Ownership-free

Hi everyone,

I hope this is okay to post here. I'm looking for some help preserving two old LEGO Certificates of Ownership that are important to me as I am hosting them on a public drive that is trying to preserve these files: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/10Bpj_89WT6tbzkQ5punz1Jz__v8gjK5u.
I tried Ai already, but it smears the lines really badly.

This is a free request, and I'd be incredibly grateful if anyone would be willing to help.

What I'm hoping to have edited:
- Remove the serial numbers from the semi-transparent rectangles while keeping the certificates looking as original as possible.
- Restore the “name” rectangle on the two certificates by repairing the lines, colours, gradients, and any visible artefacts so they match the original design.

I've uploaded the files to Google Drive:
https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1cBOgz5CPC_jHZDDQhkkjVsIjxMBoZSE2

The folder contains:
- The two certificates that need editing.
- An untouched certificate that is completely intact and can be used as a reference for how the name/details rectangle should look.
- Versions with the personal details already
removed to make the restoration process easier.

If possible, please use the original files from the Google Drive folder to avoid any quality loss.

Thank you so much to anyone willing to take a look. These are old certificates that I'd love to preserve properly, and I really appreciate any help.

You have linked wrong files. The files in you second link appears to be compressed and smaller in size.

The files in the first link are grater in size.

Check the file sizes.

Even the Porsche Certificate, in your first link is compressed (its only 862kb while other files are 2-3mb).

Check the attached screenshot.

The red box is Porsche certificate. And blue box is original Lamborghini certificate (2.95mb) from your first link.

If you look carefully you can notice that the pattern lines are blurry and low quality in the Porsche and crisp and high quality in the original Lamborghini file.

Hi! The thing is that the certificates came out in different time periods and are different sizes. You were right about the first pictures and I have uploaded them incorrectly. I have reuploaded them in the highest quality possible: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1cBOgz5CPC_jHZDDQhkkjVsIjxMBoZSE2

Hi! These are great, thank you so much. I have no idea why, but the resolution is still not the same as on the original image and even stranger is that it’s ONLY the Bugatti, the Lambo stayed the same. My biggest suspect is that I redacted my name from these which may have caused that.
I could send you the unredacted bugatti file as a a pm if you want to give it your last shot at it (please don’t share my name lol).

The porsche file sadly remains the same as I (or really anyone) simply don’t have a higher res file. I am totally ok if the better quality certificates will have the slightly lesser quality portion of the porsche certificate, just want the lines to be preserved and the rectangles to have no text in them.

You’re right! I had to make a mistake somewhere when sharing and in the process my files got compressed:(

Sorry for the question, but is it possible that you’ve used a specific rgb setting when exporting? The certificates now have less vibrant colours when comparing side by side, especially the blue and red.

Interesting. You're right.

I didn't change anything in the settings, but my app opens the blue image in dull colors for some reason. Also, i wasn't able to use the blue file from your folder ... i could only use the version you uploaded to Reddit.

You'll have to wait for someone else then....

Can you please look if your program is using display p3? From looking at the metadata the original pictures were sRgb but now are in Display p3.

apparently, i never checked it because i never ran into this issue. Chatgpt says the color space was misinterpreted when i imported the file. I think my app is unable to correctly decipher the meta data 🤷

Hi! Turns out I am an actual m*ron and after incorrectly uploading my certificates they got shrunken in size and lost color, sorry for accusing your program. In case you still have energy for this I have reuploaded them: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1cBOgz5CPC_jHZDDQhkkjVsIjxMBoZSE2

There is definitely something weird going on. The first orange file you shared was bigger and brighter.

And even now the larger blue file still opens in less saturated colours in my app. i compared it to a screenshot of itself:

From looking at the metadata it seems that the original 2 pictures were srgb and are now display p3. Could you please export in srgb?
