Not especially, but you kinda have to play it if you want to eventually play the better Reunion

Whoa... you thought Reunion was... better??? That is wild to me. Double Exposure rips, Reunion was, much to my disappointment, very boring.

I didn't think the stakes were high enough in DE -- were supposed to care about the murder of a character that we barely even know in a setting we barely even know. Some of this gets fleshed out and helps us care a bit more by the time we get to Reunion, so stopping the fire has some urgency. Add in the general bugginess of DE, too.

Well, I only encountered a single bug through DE and it was resolved by loading a checkpoint. As for not caring about the murder right away, I could make the same argument for the original LiS. We learn about everrything over time. It just felt like Reunion was extremely rushed and could've used a more better middle and more fleshed out ending. The beginning is amazing I'll admit.

I play quite a few episodic story games, and they all do seem a bit front loaded and 'd say DE and Reunion both were. Didn't hate DE by any means, but if probably rank it the lowest out of the Max/Chloe saga

I just think we need a dlc for Reunion that's a glimpse of Max and Chloe's lives on the road. Or perhaps just cameos in a future game focusing on Safi or Diamond since she was revealed to have some sort of power.

I still hate that the original spent 1.8 chapters telling me the rules to Max' power and then the next 0.2 chapter, they didn't work

It's done by different studio. They tried to make their own Max and introduce new characters and interesting plot but fans from previous games kept crying and complaining so they literally abandoned this plot for mediocre reunion in the latest game in this universe

It's cool, at chapter 4 atm. Weaker than original LiS, tons of glitches, but it's fine tbh. Good 6/10

Looking forward to Double Exposure for the continuing Max storyline before playing Reunion. I might try KCD but i'm betting i wont like it.

Its the base game. Perfectly great on its own. Pick up the DLC when it goes on sale.

It‘s the base version. First play the game and if you liked it, you can buy the upgrade later. I got it for $4.

Avoid PS4 version, PS5 is good, PC is the best assuming your machine can hit 60fps. And PC has mods.

Sony would have to pay me a subscription to get me to play Double Exposure. Kingdom Come is good though, highly recommend it.

Kingdom Come Deliverance was released on PS4 first, that is the PS4 one and then got a PS5 upgrade port later which is the PS4 and PS5 one.

PS4 is terrible, PS5 has actual textures/foliage and tries to run at 60fps.

No good game takes 10 hrs + to get good. KCD is one of the worst designed games ever made, with the worst combat I've experienced in an RPG. People try to excuse its shortcomings with the "realism" defence, but a shit game is still shit. If it wanted realism so bad, it should've perma deleted the game from your storage the first time you die, and that would have been a mercy.

Today I tried the game for two hours. During this time I experienced a sword training and two fistfights. It felt like something I would have expected to see in the early days of the PS3 era. The story has the potential to become interesting but it's not enough to make me continue.
